Pastor Ollin Collins leads The Bay Church with a heart for ministry and decades of experience. Originally from Fort Worth, and a graduate of Green B. Trimble Technical High School, Pastor Collins began serving in music and youth ministries across Texas and Colorado before pursuing his calling in full-time church leadership. His journey has included roles as Youth Minister, Music Minister, and Associate Pastor in both Texas and California churches.
After completing his undergraduate degree at Howard Payne University in just two and a half years, Pastor Collins earned his Master’s Degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He founded Harvest Church in Fort Worth, starting with just 18 members; under his vision, the congregation grew to over 5,000, established a Christian school, and started the largest licensed child care ministry in Texas—all while touching lives through the “Here’s Hope” international TV ministry.
His service has reached beyond the local church, holding roles as Vice Moderator and Moderator of the Tarrant Baptist Association’s Pastor’s Conference, and serving on the Board of Trustees for Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he held both Vice Chairman and Chairman positions.
In April 2008, Pastor Collins answered the call to lead Runaway Bay Community Church. Since then, attendance has grown from 30 to over 130 members, and the church sanctuary has expanded and flourished. This growth is fueled by Pastor Collins’s unwavering devotion to Bible-based teaching, inspiring music, creative worship, and a spirit of warmth and fellowship. Our motto remains: “Growing, By Helping Others to Grow.” At The Bay Church, the priority is not numbers, but nurturing spiritual growth and a welcoming family for all ages and backgrounds.
