Press On

What do you do with your past — the good, the bad, the regrets, and even the victories?

In this message, “Press On,” we look to the Apostle Paul’s words in Philippians 3:12–14, where he reminds us that the Christian life is not about living in yesterday — whether yesterday was good or painful — but about learning from it and moving forward with purpose.

Paul speaks honestly about his past:
his religious heritage, his education, his zeal… and even his role in persecuting the early church. Yet he teaches us that the key to spiritual growth is not denying the past or being trapped by it, but laying it before God, learning from it, and pressing forward toward what Christ has called us to become.

This sermon challenges both individuals and churches to:

Examine the past honestly

Learn from both successes and failures

Refuse to live in guilt, pride, or regret

Fix our eyes on Christ and press on toward the goal

Whether you are reflecting on personal seasons of life, the direction of your faith, or the future of the church, this message encourages us to move forward — not by our strength, but by the power and grace of Jesus Christ.

“Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal…” — Philippians 3:13–14

We pray this message encourages you to let go, look ahead, and press on in faith.
